At Tampopo we are a diverse and inclusive family; building something special and everyone sharing in the success. Many of our managers started life as chefs or serving staff, before going on to become managers or head chefs. Management
Our management team takes pride in ensuring our customers get the best out of their visit. Many started out as servers and like the rest of us, caught the hospitality bug. “There’s no better feeling like the end of a busy shift… it’s like hosting a huge dinner party, only this is what we do as a job!”
Chef
The kitchen is the heart of each restaurant and our chefs are what makes the heart beat; using fresh, authentic ingredients to create fantastic dishes in just minutes. They play a key part in our menu development too. Worried that you haven’t worked with Far Eastern food before? We provide top notch training. Some of our wok masters started with little experience but moved up through the ranks.
Front Of House
Our front of house team really is the face of our restaurants. If you are looking to start a career in hospitality or want a part time job to see you through university, then we may have a role for you. Working on front of house is fun, exciting and rewarding. It’s a role that’s packed full of transferable skills, and you get to earn much more than the national minimum wage!
Waiting Staff
Tampopo has plenty of promotional opportunities for those willing to work hard, develop and grow with us. Our restaurant is a great working environment and we are constantly recruiting enthusiastic and industrious people who understand the importance of customer care. Experience is not essential as we offer full training.
